What does a car boot sale actually cost?
The advertised price can mean entry for one person, parking for a car, or a seller’s pitch. Check which one applies, and whether arriving early changes it.

For buyers: entry and parking are different
Holcot publishes visitor entry at £2 per car. That is a vehicle charge: don’t multiply it by the number of passengers as though it were a per-person ticket. Confirm any pedestrian arrangements with the organiser. Holcot visitor information ↗

Arriving early can cost more
Finmere publishes buyer entry before 07:30 at £5 per vehicle, then £1 per person after 07:30, with children free. For two adults in one car, that makes the listed charge £5 before the changeover or £2 afterward. Finmere admission prices ↗
For sellers: check your vehicle and extras
Holcot lists a standard seller car at £8. Its seller page separately prices larger vehicles, trailers and early admission. The main gate can open for queuing before access to the selling area; those are different arrival times. Holcot seller information ↗
Before loading up, establish the price for your vehicle, whether a trailer or gazebo costs extra, the seller’s entry time and whether you must bring a table. Check booking requirements and payment methods on the organiser’s current notice.
A donation is not a fixed entry price
